Helen Irene (Lechlitner) Dobbins

SOUTH BEND - Helen I. Dobbins, 82, of St. Paul's Health Care Facility, formerly of Manor Drive, Mishawaka, died at 12:30 p.m. Sunday in St. Paul's. She was a former employee at Bigelow Press, Studebaker Corp., H.D. Lee Co. and Liberty Mutual Insurance.

She was born July 8, 1913, in Mishawaka and was a lifelong area resident.

On June 20, 1936, in Fort Wayne, as Helen I. Lechlitner, she married Harold J. Dobbins. He died in 1990.

Surviving are a daughter, Karin Jordan of Mishawaka; two grandchildren; four great grand daughter; grandchildren; and a great a sister, Beatrice Young of Mishawaka. She was a member of River Park Church of Christ since 1928. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the church. Entombment will be in Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum, Mishawaka.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today in Hollis-Orvis-Palmer Funeral Home and an hour before services Wednesday in the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
