Walter C. White nee Wojtysiak

July 15, 1912 - May 22, 1993

SOUTH BEND - Walter C. White, 80, of Goleta, Calif., formerly of South Bend, died May 22 in Goleta.

Mr. White retired in 1982 the U.S. Postal Service, Santa Barbara, Calif., and was an employee of Studebaker Corp. for many years. He was born July 15, 1912, in South Bend, and lived in South Bend until moving to California in 1968.

On Nov. 6, 1943, in South Bend, he married Magdalen "Marge" C. Manuszak. She survives, with a daughter, Peggy Demske of Auburn, Calif.; two sons, Gregory J. of Santa Barbara and Barry C. of California; six grandchildren; a sister, Irene Pauwels of South Bend; and a brother, Al of San Diego.

Services were held in California. Burial was in Cedar Grove Cemetery, South Bend. Welch-Ryce Mortuary, Santa Barbara, handled arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association
