Addie Lois (Whiteman) Wilson

MISHAWAKA - Addie L. Wilson, 100, of Ardennes Avenue, Mishawaka, passed away at her home on Monday, November 11th, 2013. She was born in Marion, Indiana to Knurr and Bessie (Smith) Whiteman, who preceded her in death.

On January 12, 1936 in South Bend, she married George M. Wilson. He died September 21st, 1992. She and her husband George were owners of the Lariat Restaurant in Mishawaka for 20 years. She also worked at Ball Band during World War II.

She is survived by her son, Martin G. (Sara) Wilson of Mishawaka and three grandchildren: Abbey, Joseph and Kal.

Funeral services for Addie will be held at Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka at 11:00 am Friday. Friends will be received from 4 until 6 pm on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer's Association .
