Agnes Waters

Miss Agnes Waters, 833 Ashland Ave., died at 3 a.m. Thursday in St. Luke's Hospital, Kansas City, Mo., after an illness of about 10 days. She had been visiting friends in Kansas City the last six weeks. Born in Madison, Ind., on April 9, 1913, Miss Waters had lived in South Bend about 41 years.
She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George W. Waters,
Surviving are two brothers, Wray R. Waters of St. Petersburg, Fla., and George W. of Cincinnati, OH., and two sisters. Mrs. Glen C. Dildine of Silver Springs, Md., and Mrs. Edward Epler of Gary.
Friends may after p.m. Saturday in Welsheimer Funeral Home.
Miss Waters was a member of the Junior League, the YWCA board, Players, the First Methodist Church and the Beta Chapter of Thalia Sorority, Recently, Miss Waters received an award from the Junior League for outstanding service to a particular project.
She was active in the Television Workshop of the Council of Churches of St. Joseph County, having produced and written programs for the workshop's weekly program, "The Story Corner" which appears over WSBT, the Tribune station
