John Charles Toth

John Charles Toth, 60, of 232 Westwood Lane, was found dead in his garage about 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Death was apparently due to a heart attack, but tests are being made to determine the exact cause, according to Dr. James E. McMeel, deputy St. Joseph County coroner. Mr. Toth was a Bendix Aviation Division employee, having worked there 42 years. Born Aug. 14, 1913, in South Bend, he had lived here his lifetime.
On Aug. 6, 1936, in South Bend, he married Ruth Tindely, who died in 1965.
On Dec. 20, 1969, he married Bernice Cooper, who survives. Also surviving are a son, Fred C. of South Bend; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Linarello of South Bend and Mrs. H. D. Chamberlin of Sidney, Ohio; six grandchildren; six step-grandchildren, and three sisters, Leonarry Wheatly, Mrs. Charles Nagy and Mrs. Irvin Burke, all of South Bend.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. until time of services at 2 p.m. in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Rev. Jack O. Burrell, pastor of the Calvary Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
Mr. Toth was a member of Lodge 58, Loyal Order of the Mouse.
