Irma A. (Sule) Parvis

SOUTH BEND - Irma Ann Parvis, 81, of Meridian Nursing Center-Cardinal, formerly of North Boulevard de la Paix, died at 8:47 a.m. Thursday in the nursing home. Mrs. Parvis retired from Memorial Hospital as a unit clerk after 15 years of service. She was born July 1, 1913, in South Bend.
On April 14, 1934, in South Bend, as Irma Ann Sule, she married Donald E. Parvis. He died in 1984. She is survived by two daughters, Marianne Peregrine of South Bend and Barbara Brisk of Aurora, Colo.; a son, Donald of Rochester, N.Y.; six grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; nine great -grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Farrell of Riverdale, Ill.
She was a volunteer for Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and member of Harvest House of St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the church. Entombment will be in Riverview Mausoleum. Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3402 Lincoln Way W. Memorial contributions may be made to the Children's Fund of Memorial Hospital, 615 N. Michigan St., South Bend, IN 46601.
