ROSS - A parish rosary for Benjamin J. Ross, 57, of 1141 N. Wilber St., who died at 2:45 p.m. Friday in Memorial Hospital after a short illness, will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today at the Hickey Funeral Home, where friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. today. Services will be conducted at 10. a.m. Tuesday at Holy Cross Catholic Church by Rev. Joseph Murphy, C.S.C. Burial will be Highland Cemetery.

Mr. Ross was the dispatch foreman for Commercial Motor Freight Co. He was born Nov. 22, 1912, in South Bend.

On Sept. 14, 1940, he married Clara Tomaszewski, who survives along with a son, Michael, of South Bend; two daughters, Mrs. John Kruszynski of South Bend and Miss Marelyn Ross of Schiller Park, Ill.; two grandchildren; and five sisters, Mrs. Clara Clayton, Miss Jean Ross and Mrs. Karl Funecky, all of South Bend, Sister M. Fides of Livonia, Mich., and Mrs. Loretta Jackson of South Glen Falls, N.Y.

Mr. Ross was member of the Holy Cross Ushers Club and Moose Lodge 58.
