SOUTH BEND Services for Harry E. Poulin, 78, of 2643 Summit Ridge Drive, who died at 10:35 a.m. Tuesday in St. Joseph's Medical Center, will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to any charity.

Poulin retired in 1976 as vice president of the former Studebaker Worthington. He was born Nov. 3, 1913, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

On July 20, 1940, in South Bend, he married Patricia Loveland. She died June 14, 1975.

On Aug. 7, 1976, in South Bend, he married Eleanor L. Brinley. She survives with a daughter, Barbara Swanson of Sacramento, Calif.; a son, Dr. Thomas of South Bend; two stepdaughters, Betty Strauss of Orange Park, Fla., and Sandra Mediavilla of Naples, Fla.; a stepson, Charles Brinley of South Bend; four grandchildren; and nine stepgrandchildren.

He was a member of Knights of Columbus Santa Maria Council 553, Elks Lodge 235, Corpus Christi Catholic Church, and was a graduate of the University of Notre Dame
