John Willison McCombs

John Willison "Will" McCombs, 86, of Palm Harbor, Fla., died on Wednesday, May 12, in the Countryside Healthcare Center, Palm Harbor. Born on Sept. 10, 1912, in Pittsburgh, Pa., he then moved to South Bend, Ind.

He worked as a tool designer at Studebaker and as a mechanical engineer at Bendix Missile. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and of the Masonic Lodge, both in South Bend.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Mildred N. McCombs; three daughters, Nancy McCombs of South Bend, Suzanne Easterday of Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., and Betty Reisner of Lake City, Mich.; two grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren; and by a sister, Dorothy Knapik of South Bend
