Joy Louise (Kinsey) Grant

Joy Louise, Grant, 72, of 4550 E. MacDougall Court, died at 8:30 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Grant was born Oct. 24, 1913, in Leesburg, and had lived in South Bend most of her life.

On Jan. 2, 1934, in Mishawaka, as Joy Kinsey, she married Roland E. Grant, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Barbara Lou Brosius of Hatfield, Pa.; two sons, Carl E. of Birmingham, Ala., and James L. of San Diego; and seven grandchildren.

Mrs. Grant had been a teacher in the South Bend Community School Corp., retiring from Harrison School in 1979. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Friends may call from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St.
