Loretta E. Heyde, 87, of Regency Place of South Bend, Ind., died at 10:10 a.m. on Monday, March 19, in Regency Place. She was born on Aug. 18, 1913, in South Bend, to the late Rose (Kochendofer) and Bernard Hagman.

On Nov. 28, 1935, in South Bend, as Loretta E. Hagman, she married Donald C. Heyde, who preceded her in death on Sept. 22, 1993. Mr. Heyde was the former manager of A.E.P. Electric Twin Branch Plant.

Mrs. Heyde is survived by a daughter, Sharon A. Nagy-Fish (Frank H) of Indianapolis, Ind, a son, Richard C (Judy A) Heyde of South Bend, a grandson, David Nagy of Indianapolis; step-grandchildren, Jeff Krieg and his wife. Penny, and their children, Brandy, Elizabeth, Katelyn and Landon, and grandchild, Allen Krieg, all of Plymouth, Ind., Gregory Krieg and his wife, Kate, and their children, Frankie Sutphin, Cameron and Olivia Kneg, all of Mishawaka, Ind, Crysta Spychalski and her husband, Bobby, and their children, Joseph and Dannah Spychalski, all of Spokane, Wash, Anna Marie Burrell, and her husband. Timothy, and their children, Aaron and Samuel of Indianapolis, Timothy Fish and his wife of Jacqueline Louisville, Ky, Jeannette Paris and her husband, Tony, and their son, Daniel of Indianapolis, and Monica Fish, who is with the Peace Corps in Bulgaria, a sister Bernice K Geyer of South Bend, and a brother, Arthur Hagman of South Bend.

Mrs. Heyde was a homemaker. She was a graduate of South Bend Central High SchoolShe was a lifetime member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church, South Bend, and the Women's Society Group at the church. She was a former member of Four Lakes Country Club and former member of the Magnolia Valley Association and Country Club in New Port Richey, Fla.

Services for Mrs. Heyde will be 10 a.m. on Friday, March 23, in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N William Street, South Bend. Rev Kathy Miller Crook, pastor of St Paul's United Methodist Church will conduct the services. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m today in the funeral home. Entombment will be in Riverview Mausoleum.

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 1001 W. Colfax. South Bend. IN 46616
