Joseph B. Fleck Jr

Joseph B. Fleck Jr. died Monday, November 20, 2006, in Sunset Village at the age of 96. He was born in South Bend, Indiana to Joseph and Pearl Fleck Sr.

He began working at the age of 17 and retired in 1969 from Rotor-Rooter Sewer Cleaning, now known as Fleck Inc. Mr. Fleck was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Valley of Toledo and the Zenobia Shrine, where he was active with the Temple Guards. He enjoyed square and round dancing until recently. He also was an avid bowler.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Eleanor, and 2 brothers.

Surviving are his wife, Myrtle; sons, David (Lonnie) Fleck of Hillsdale, MI and Joseph (Eleanor) Fleck of South Bend, IN; grandchildren, David Michael Fleck (Pam), Lorna Koppel (Dan), Daniel Fleck (Laura), Althea Price (John) and Linda Thorpe (Pat); 7 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Foth - Dorfmeyer Mortuary, 3815 Sylvania Ave. (between Monroe St. & Talmadge Rd.) Friday after 11 a.m. with funeral services to be held at 1 p.m.

Interment will be private. The family prefers memorial contributions to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E. River + Rd., Perrysburg, OH 43551
