Florence A. (DeBaets) Pinter

Florence A. Pinter, 83, of Kenilworth Road, died at 9am Saturday in Meridian Nursing Center-Cardinal. She had been a clerk at St. Mary's College Book Store for many years. She was born March 16, 1912, in South Bend.

On January 13, 1934, in South Bend, as Florence DeBaets, she married Joseph A. Pinter. He survives with a daughter, Charlene M. Balukiewicz of South Bend; two granddaughters, two great grandsons; and a brother, Henry DeBaets of South Bend.

She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church Altar Society. Services will be at 10am Tuesday in the church.

Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call form 2 to 7pm Monday in Hickey Funeral Home, 17131 Cleveland Road. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or the church.
