Ruth (Christman) Lee

March 4, 1913 - Dec. 2, 2001

Ruth passed away after a lengthy illness in the Holy Cross Nursing Center in South Bend. Ruth was married to William Lee who preceded her in death and was born to Emma and Julius B. Christman.

She is survived by two brothers, Charles Christman of South Bend and William Christman of Niles, Michigan, along with many nieces and nephews. Ruth graduated from Central High School and attended Indiana University.

She was employed for many years by the First Source Bank. After retiring, Ruth moved to Marco Island, FL., with her husband William Lee. She returned to South Bend following his death.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, December 4 at Zion United Church of Christ, 715 East Wayne St., South Bend. Visitation at noon will precede the service. Contributions and memorials may be made to Zion United Church of Christ. Welsheimer Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
