NEW CARLISLE Berneita Paulene Perkins. 81, of West Chestnut, died Monday in her home of natural causes. Survivors include three sons, Benjamin L. of New Carlisle, Melvin of Marrietta, Calif., and Larry of Hemeth. Calif.; two sisters, Evelyn Teeter of South Bend and Betty Jane Reid of Cocoa Beach, Fla.; and a brother. Lowell W. Zentz of Kalkaska, Mich.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St., South Bend, where friends may call from to 8 p.m. today.
