Doris M. Dunklau, 71, of 20 Deer Hollow Drive, Coal Valley, died Saturday at United Medical Center, Moline. Memorial services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at DeRoo Funeral Home, Moline. Burial is in Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island. Memorials may be made. to the American Cancer Society.
Doris M. Tedrow was born March 10, 1918, in Blue Earth, Minn. She married the late William Potthoff in September 1946, in Fort Wayne, Ind. She then married Duwain Dunklau June 12, 1971, in Long Grove, Ill.
Mrs. Dunklau retired in 1965 as a receptionist at the former Bear Manufacturing Co., Rock Island, where she was employed 12 years. She was formerly a beautician and hair stylist in Fort Wayne, before moving to the Quad-Cities in 1947. She was a graduate of New York College of Hair Styling.
She enjoyed gardening, dressmaking, fishing and ceramics.
Survivors include the widower; daughters, Donna Breedon, Lansing, Mich., Wendy Terranella, Colona, and Darcy Potthoff, East Moline; stepdaughters, Laurie Gordon, Milan, and Bonnie Mirfield, Davenport; and 14 grandchildren
