Florence L. (Tarwacki) Tarnacki

Florence L. Tarnacki, 69, of 4910 Selkirk Drive, died at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Tarnacki retired in 1975 after 25 years of employment at Associates Investment. Co. She was born July 29, 1917, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

On Sept. 14, 1940, in South Bend, as Florence Tarwacki, she married Chester Tarnacki, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Dianne Huffman of Neenah, Wis., and Susan Divine of Marathon, Fla.; son, Terry of Mars, Pa.; and six grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Jude's Catholic Church. Entombment will be in Highland Mausoleum.

Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 4:30 p.m.

Mrs. Tarnacki was a member of the church.
