DavId D, Talley

David D. Talley, 58, of 1232 W. Colfax, died at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Jan 16, 1976, in the Ridgedale Nursing Home after an extended illness. Talley was a retired Bendix Corp. employe. Born on Nov. 5, 1917, in South Bend, he had lived here his lifetime.

On June 17, 1940, in Toledo, Ohio, he married Hattie Tidwell, who preceded him in death. Surviving are a foster son, Michael Tidwell of Chicago; and three sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Scott, and Mrs. Kathryn Elliott, both of South Bend, and Mrs; Elaine Linnear of Woodland, Calif.

Private services will be at 1 p.m, Monday in Clarks Funeral Chapel. Rev, Booker West, pastor of the St. Paul BetheL Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in City Cemetery, Friends may call from 2:30 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.

Talley was a World War II: Army veteran and a member. of Chapter 6, Disabled American Veterans, and Post 9733, Veterans of Foreign Wars
