Phil Bennett Spray

Phil B. Spray, Clarks Summit, died early Thursday at Mercy Hospital. His widow is Carol Earl Spray. Born in Frankfort, Ind., son of the late Thomas and Pauline Bennett Earl, he lived in Clarks Summit for the past 35 years and worked as a J.C. Penney Co. manager at the Viewmont Mall, from which he retired. He was a former president of SCORE and a former president of the Viewmont Mall Association.
Also surviving are two daughters, Patti and her husband, Sam Falzone, Florida; and Linda and her husband, Karl Frederick, Ohio; and three grandchildren, Matthew, Jennifer and Robyn.
The service will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Parker Hill Community Church, by the Rev. Mark Stuenzi. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Friends may call Saturday, 2 to p.m., at the Lawrence E. Young Funeral Home, 418 S. State St., Clarks Summit.
