SOUTH BEND Joseph J. Slazewski Jr., 84, of Frederickson Street, died Monday in St. Joseph Care Center West.

Survivors include his wife, Mavis J.; two daughters, Jacquelyn Lahiff of Tucson, Ariz., and Donna M. Mahaffey of LaPorte; a son, Dennis Milliken of South Bend; and two sisters, Lillian Szczechowski and Helen Castleman, both of South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Joseph Funeral Home, 824 S. Mayflower Road, where friends may call one hour before services.
