Dorothy J. Orand, 65, of 503 Southmore, died at 8:59 a.m. Thursday in Memorial Hospital. She was a former Bendix Corp. employee and retired as an executive secretary from Sigma Oil Co., La Jolla, Calif. She was born Aug. 16, 1918, in Bakersfield, Calif.
A grandson, Jami Lee Daniels of South Bend, survives.
There will be no services or visitation. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph County Heart Association. HollisPalmer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was a member of Ridgedale Presbyterian Church
