Clifford Martin Seely

Clifford M. Seely, 68, of 60226 St. Joseph St., died at 2:45 a.m. Tuesday in Medical Center, Punta Gorda, Fla., after an illness. Mr. Seely had retired from Mastic Corp. after 47 years.
He was born Nov. 21, 1917, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.
On June 21, 1943, in South Bend, he married the former Virginia V. Kovatch, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Carol Powers of Lynchburg, Va.; a son, Douglas of Howe; and two grandsons.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, 435 S. Ironwood Drive. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home.
Mr. Seely was a veteran of World War II and a member of the Board of Trustees of Broadway Christian Church, the Center Twp. Fire Department and the Retired Officers Association
