William R. Reel

William R. Reel, 52, of 1806 Tudor Lane, died at 7:15 p.m. Sunday in his home. He had been in ill health since November.

He had been credit manager South Bend Lathe for 34 years. Born Jan. 28, 1918 in Logansport, he had lived in South Bend since 1930.

On Oct. 17, 1964 in South Bend he married Virginia Swanson, who survives. He is also survived by his mother, Mrs. William R. Reel Sr. of South Bend.

Friends may call at the Welsheimer Funeral Home where services will conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday by Rev. J. Robert Clark, associate pastor of the Grace United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.

Mr. Reel was a member the Grace United Methodist Church, the Elks Lodge, the Loyal Order of Moose, and the Four Lakes Country Club in Adamsville, Mich. He was a graduate of Central High School
