Mary Ann (Pilarski) Hazinski

Mary Ann Hazinski, 70, of 1139 E. Victoria St., died at 5 p.m. Sunday in Healthwin Hospital. Mrs. Hazinski was a magnetic typewriter operator for 20 years for the office of Special Projects and Development at the University of Notre Dame. She was born April 8, 1918, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

On May/26, 1943, in South Bend, as Mary Ann Pilarski, she married Arthur Hazinski, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter, Mary Jo Sheres of Alexandria, Va.; a son, Thomas of Nashville, Tenn.; three grandchildren; and a brother, John Pilarski of St. Louis.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Matthew Cathedral. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph's Medical Center, the March of Dimes or Healthwin Hospital.
