Josephine A. (Pierzchala) Dabros

MISHAWAKA - Josephine A. Dabros, 77, of Cambridge Court, Mishawaka, Ind., passed away at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 5, in her son's residence in Niles, Mich.

Mrs. Dabros was born on Nov. 4, 1919, in Laporte, Ind. She retired in 1981 as a secretary with Deluxe Sheet Metal.

On Oct. 18, 1941, in St. Adalbert Church, as Josephine A. Pirzchala, she married Joseph J. Dabros, who preceded her in death on June 29, 1972. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Karen Dzierba.

She is survived by a son, Edward W. Dabros of Niles; five grandchildren, Alex, Robert and Carolyn Dzierba, Kimberly Szumski and Edward M. Dabros; a great-grandson, Michael Forester; and by three brothers, Matthew Pirzchala of Arlington, Va., Edward Pirzchala of North Hollywood, Calif., and Richard Pier of San Diego, Calif.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday in Holy Family Church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, where a parish Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m.
