John Carl Papp

SOUTH BEND - John Carl Papp, 75, of 59769 Middleboro Road, died at 1:45 p.m. Thursday in his son's home in Stone Mountain, Ga. He worked for South Bend Community School Corp. for 28 years.
He was born Feb. 7, 1917, in Buffalo, N.Y.
On Aug. 31, 1940, in South Bend, he married Louise Nagy. She survives with two sons, Albert of Stone Mountain and John F. of Manassas, Va.; eight grandchildren; a brother, Frank of South Bend; and a half brother, Paul Szabo of South Bend.
He was a member of American Legion 284 and Eagles of Mishawaka.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Matthew Cathedral. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Guisinger Colonial Chapel Funeral Home
