Beatrice S. (Nowak) Filley

NILES Beatrice S. Filley, 78, of 807 Mobile Blvd., died at 10:40 p.m. Thursday in Memorial Hospital, South Bend. Mrs. Filley was born Feb. 2, 1918, in South Bend.

On Jan. 31, 1942, in South Bend, she married Robert L. Filley. He survives with two daughters, Mary "Diane" Murray and Nancy Filley, both of South Bend; two sons, Thomas of South Bend and John of Goshen; two granddaughters; two sisters, Catherine Pletcher of Niles and Gertrude Ireland of Skokie, Ill.

She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Niles.

There will be no services or visitation. Entombment will be in Riverview Cemetery, South Bend. Halbritter Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Hospital.
