Tekonsha Peggy D. Nowicki, 93, of Tekonsha, passed away August 5, 2010. She was born November 5, 1916 in Jasonville, IN, to Vester and Glennie (Puckett) Lynn. Peggy had worked at Greenwalds, Tekonsha Sheet Metal, Mains Market and at Putnam's of Tekonsha since 1963.

She is survived by her children, Jerry (Sandi) Nowicki of Battle Creek, Lynnette (Irvin) Wilson of Bellevue; also, six grandchildren, Jeffrey (Karen) Nowicki, Jodi (Troy) Brandt, Traci (Danny) Balch, Rozanne Brown, Yvonne Wilson and Kelly (Kirk) Scurlock; twenty great- and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by three brothers and three sisters.

Peggy enjoyed playing golf, bowling and she loved to play cards. Visitation will be on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. at Putnam's of Tekonsha.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:00 a.m. with one hour of visiting prior to the service from the First Baptist Church in Tekonsha. Pastor Wayne Halbleib will officiate with internment in the Riverside Cemetery in Tekonsha.
