Sarah Jane Lattimer, 79, of Denslow Drive, South Bend, died at 6 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 23, in Manor Health Services in Sinking Springs, Pa. Mrs. Lattimer was born Nov. 1, 1917, in Flora, Ind., and moved to South Bend in 1927.

On May 6, 1939, in South Bend, she married William H. Lattimer. Mr. Lattimer died Jan. 3, 1990.

Surviving are a daughter, Sue Ellen Carder of Sinking Springs, Pa., and four grandchildren.

Sarah Jane was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Kiwanis Auxiliary, St. Joseph Chapter 569 Order of Eastern Star, a life member of Professional Photographers of Indiana and Daquerre Club of Indiana.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 1, in Grace United Methodist Church, 3012 S. Twyckenham Drive, South Bend. Memorial contributions can be made to Grace United Methodist Church. Welsheimer Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
