Miss Loretta Ladewski

Services for Miss Loretta B. (LaDew) Ladewski, 53, of Chicago, formerly of South Bend, who a died Thursday in Wesley Memorial Hospital, Chicago, after a one-week illness, will be held at. 11:30 a.m. Monday in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, Rev. Roman Ladewski, her brother, officiating. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery.

She was born Oct. 27, 1917 in South Bend. She moved to Chicago 26 years ago from here.

Surviving are her father, Walter Ladewski of South Bend, two other brothers, Stanley and Eugene, both of South Bend, and a sister, Mrs. Genevieve Speer of Chicago.

She worked as a dress designer in Chicago. She graduated from the American Academy of Arts in Chicago and she attended DePaul and Loyola Universities, both in Chicago. She served in the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Friends may call from 7 to 11 p.m. today and from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Kaniewski and Sons Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 7:10 p.m. Sunday.
