Walter F. Kolber

Walter F. Kolber, 66, of 5012 Mayfair Place, died at 4:55 a.m. Thursday in Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. He was retired from Norwalk Trucking Lines.

Born on Nov. 13, 1915, in South Bend, he had lived here all his life.

On April 11, 1942, in South Bend. he married Elizabeth Trzaskowski. She survives, with a daughter, Mrs. Christine Kreczmer of South Bend: two grandchildren; and a brother.,Ted, of South Bend.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in Holy Family Catholic Church. Rev. Daniel E. Peil, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call until 9 p.m. today in the St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.

He was a member of Pulaski Post 357 American Legion.
