KELTNER Dale B. Keltner, 76, of Avon Park, FL, died on Thursday, November 24, in Florida Hospital, Orlando, of complications following heart surgery. Born September 28, 1918, in South Bend, IN, he pursued engineering studies at Purdue University and joined the Bendix Corporation in 1940, serving as a technician in the South Pacific during World War II.

In 1945 he married Mary E. Ingram. He continued working for Bendix through a move to Florida in 1973 and until his retirement in 1982. His wife, Mary, passed away in March, 1989. A gentle man with a sweet disposition and an oft used sense of humor, he was an avid gardener and golfer.

He is survived by two daughters: Karen Keltner, of San Diego, CA and Barbara Hartman, of Dowagiac, MI; a grandson, Jason Hartman, of Tampa and a sister, Alice Axton, of West Lafayette, IN.

The Neptune Society of St. Petersburg handled cremation arrangements. Al Memorial Service will be held at 3:30 P.M. Wednesday, November 30, at Casa del Lago in Avon Park
