William L. Kaylor

SOUTH BEND - William L. Kaylor, 73, of 55289 N. Berry Road, died at 2:30 a.m. Friday at Memorial Hospital. He retired from Bendix Corp. in 1981 after 43 years.

He was born Oct. 29, 1917, in South Bend.

On Nov. 21, 1938, in South Bend, he married Roberta Collier. She survives, with a daughter, Sharon Kaylor Woods of Granger; a son, Gordon of Manhattan, Kan.; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

Mr. Kaylor was a member of Avalon Grotto, St. Joseph Masonic Lodge 45, American Legion Post 284 and Disabled American Veterans Chapter 6.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Kaniewski & Sons Funeral Home. Entombment will be at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
