George F. Jones

George F. Jones, 44, of Tecumseh, Mich., formerly of this city, died at 3 a.m. Tuesday in Herrick Hospital, Tecumseh, following a heart attack. Born March 8, 1918, in Gary, Ind., he spent most of his life in South Bend, moving to Tecumseh two years ago.

In South Bend on Sept. 2, 1950, he married the former Evelyn Weaver, who survives. Other survivors are three children, Sharon, Victor F. Jones IlI, and Michael, all at home, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Jones, of this city.

Mr. Jones was a hydraulic engineer with the Double A Division of Brown & Sharpe Manufacturing Co., Tecumseh.

Friends may call after noon Thursday in the Forest G. Hay Funeral Home, where the funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday, by Rev. Ralph S. Steele, pastor of Grace Methodist Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park. George F. Jones.
