Jenna Margaret (Jessup) Griffin

Jenna Margaret Griffin, 69, of 747 S. Logan St., died Tuesday in All Seasons Resort, Dowagac, while vacationing. Mrs. Griffin served for more than 25 years as memorial chairman for the American Heart Association of St. Joseph County.

She was born Jan. 17, 1917 in New Castle, Ind., and lived in South Bend most of her life.

On June 30, 1956, in South Bend, she married Francis *Frank" Griffin, who survives. Also surviving are a son, David A. Manuwal of Bellevue, Wash.; two grandchildren; a sister, Lois Weaver of Houston, Texas; and a brother, Ara Jessup of Fremont, Calif.

Services will be at 7 p.m. Friday in Hollis-Palmer Funeral Home, 2528 Mishawaka Ave. Cremation will follow at Riverview Crematory. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association of St. Joseph County.
