Milo Eugene Hodgson

NILES - Milo E. Hodgson, 77, died Friday at home in Niles. Friends may call Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at PiferSmith Funeral Home, Niles, where the funeral will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, Niles. Memorials may be made to Rev. David Mitchell of Faith Victory Fellowship Church, Buchanan, or to the donor's choice.

Mr. Hodgson was born May 2, 1917, in South Bend.

He was formerly employed as a tool and die maker at Bendix Corp., South Bend, retiring in 1976 after 39 years. He was also a World War II Army veteran.

A son, Kenneth Hodgson, preceded him in death in February 1994.

Survivors include: his wife, the former Violet Eisenhart; daughter, Donna Petzold of South Bend; two sons John Hodgson and Greg Hodgson, both of Niles; a brother, Verlin Hodgson of Toney, Ala.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild
