Eugene A. Gyuriak

Eugene A. Gyuriak, 65, of 320 W. Madison, died at 4:15 p.m. Saturday in Memorial Hospital.

He was a retired professor of photography IVY Tech and a veteran of World War II, having served in the Army Air Corps. He was born in South Bend on Oct. 11, 1916 and was a lifelong resident.

He is survived by three sons, Thomas E., Timothy J. and Stephen P., all of South Bend; four grandchildren; and a brother Stephen, also of South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Holy Cross Church with the Rev. William Dorwart, C.S.C, officiating. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Zahoran Funeral Home where a parish rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
