Mary Roselyn “Roz” (Gooding) Marsh

SOUTH BEND — Mary Roselyn “Roz” Marsh of South Bend, IN, passed away at 10:30 p.m.Sunday, March 23, 2008, in Southfield Village, South Bend. She was born in Sturgis, MI, to Floyd C. and Ruby (Needham) Gooding.

On August 12, 1939, in South Bend, IN, she married Robert E. Marsh, who preceded her in death in November 2000.

Mrs. Marsh is survived by a daughter, Mary L. (Gary) Froshaug of Fort Wayne, IN; a son, R. Scott (Jill) Marsh of South Bend, IN; three grandchildren, Jessica Lynn Froshaug, Haley Ameila Marsh and Riley Marsh; and a brother, W. R. Gooding of New Orleans, LA.

Mrs. Marsh was a longtime resident of South Bend. She was a former member of the First United Methodist Church, South Bend.

Private services will be held Saturday, March 29, in the Palmer Funeral Home-Guisinger Chapel, South Bend, with Rev. Mary Hubbard officiating. Burial will take place at Highland Cemetery, South Bend.
