Frame Hendricks, Ferne B.

Age 88. Mrs. Hendricks passed away on Monday, May 28, 2007 at Cullen House following an extended illness. She was born October 4, 1918 in Missouri, the daughter of Frederick and Blanche (Yokum) Frame. In January of 1948 she was married to Paul P. Hendricks and together they moved from Southbend, Indiana to Whitmore Lake and made it their home. Mr. Hendricks preceded her in death in 1965.

Since 1948 she had been a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church of Whitmore Lake where she was very active in Sunday school, the choir and all other aspects of the church. Prior to her retirement in 1984 she had been employed with the former Ann Arbor Bank in Ann Arbor as a supervisor for over 19 years.

Surviving is three daughters, Paula (Bill Dennis) Hendricks of Howell, Kathy (Jim) Bailey of Boulder, Colorado, and Myrna Hendricks of Ocean Side, California, seven grandchildren, eight great granddaughters, and one great great grandson, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, May 31, 2007 from 4 to 8 p.m. and the Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, June 1, 2007 at 1 p.m. both at Keehn Funeral Home, Brighton (810-229-9871) with Rev. Dwight Murphy officiating. Final visitation on Friday will begin at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at Washtenong Memorial Park in Ann Arbor. The family has requested memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Assn. or to St. Joseph Mercy Livingston Hospice and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
