Gerald Fisher, 69, of Ft. Myers died Tuesday, October 6, at the Southwest Florida Regional Medical Center. Mr. Fisher was born in. Dickenson, North Dakota and came to Ft. Myers in 1982, from Niles. He was a. World War II Marine Corps veteran, a member of the Masonic Lodge in Niles and a 1939 graduate of Notre Dame.
Mr. Fisher is survived by his wife, Sarah; two daughters, Mary Elaine Waldron of Mt. Prospect, Illinois and Catherine Fisher. of Wyoming, Michigan; one stepson, Robert Hayden of Niles; one stepdaughter Linda Hayden of Estero, Florida: one brother, Frank Fisher of Wakarusa, Indiana; five grandchildren.
Memorial services were at the Chapel of Memories at Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial contributions may: be made to the Ft. Myers Humane Society.
Mr. Fisher was teacher in Cassopolis Schools for over 28 years
