Theodore Oliver Davis

SOUTH BEND - Theodore O. Davis, 94, WW II veteran, beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully April 4, 2012 in Naples, Florida.

He is survived by his loving wife of 70 years, Avis G. Davis and three daughters, Julie Metz, Ellen (Rich) Kamysz and Lynn (Fred) Gray, 5 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings Norma Trimmer, Paul Davis, Marvin (Elaine) Davis, and Donald (Louise) Davis.

He was preceded in death by his brother Richard Davis.

Ted retired after 26 years from Kreamo Bakery. His greatest passions in life were his family and his church of which he was a proud member for 94 years. He lived to help others.

Cremation has taken place and services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 51900 Mayflower Road, South Bend, Indiana 46625. Published in South Bend Tribune on April 6, 2012
