SOUTH BEND - Alfred G. Daveline, 77, of North St. Peter Street, died at 12:01 a.m. today in his home after an illness. Mr. Daveline retired from Ball Band and was a former employee of Bendix Corp. He was born July 9, 1917, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident.
On July 7, 1959, in Toronto, he married Camilla McCaffrey. She survives with a brother, Richard of Pueblo, Colo.
He was a veteran of World War II and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in the church. Friends may call from 2 to 6 Thursday in Hickey Funeral Home, 3516 E. Jefferson Blvd., where a parish rosary will be said at 3 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
