Jack H. Darr

SOUTH BEND - Jack H. Darr, 77, of Sebring, Fla., formerly of South Bend, died at 7:30 a.m. Friday in his home after an illness. Mr. Darr retired from Bendix Missile Plant, Mishawaka, as a commercial artist. He was born Sept. 17, 1917, in South Bend and lived here most of his life.

On Oct. 21, 1950, in South Bend, he married Mary Breda. She survives with a sister, Marjorie Gramza of South Bend, and many nieces and nephews.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and Hilltop Lutheran Church and was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Welsheimer Funeral Home, 521 N. William St. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
