Gerald V. Curtin, 70, of 2414 Arrowhead Circle, died at 3 p.m. Monday in Memorial Hospital. Mr. Curtin was employed by the Indiana Toll Road as a toll booth attendant for 23 years and was a former employee of the Studebaker Corp.

He was born June 18, 1918, in South Bend and was a lifelong area resident.

On Dec. 2, 1950, in Chicago, he married Ruth E. Leedham, who survives. Also surviving are a sister, Catherine E. Tohulka of Fond du Lac, Wis.; and a brother, Robert J. of Fort Wayne.

He was a veteran of World War II, a graduate of the former Central High School and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Friends may call from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in McGann Funeral Home, 2313 E. Edison Road.
