San Jose, Calif., resident William G. Carter died Saturday, Nov. 26 at San Jose Regional Medical Center in San Jose, Calif. He was 86. William was born in Warrick County.
He was a WWII Army Veteran. William retired as an engineer from Pfizer, Inc. He is survived by his wife, Betty J. Carter of San Jose, Calif.; a daughter, Susan Ritchie of San Jose, Calif.; a grandson; and a sister, Ellen Bosseng of Alliance, Ohio.
Private graveside services were held Tuesday, Dec. 6 at Wesley Chapel Cemetery near Boonville. Koehler Funeral HomeBoonville Chapel handled the arrangements.
