Esther Ruth (Bokor) Turza

GREENVILLE, SC Esther Ruth Turza passed away the morning of October 10, 2005 in Greenville, South Carolina. She will be deeply missed by her two sons: Alan Michael Turza and Gregory P. Turza and her two, grandchildren: Allison Turza and Nicholas Turza.

Born on November 17, 1917, Esther lived in South Bend, Indiana until retirement from (then) Bendix Mishawaka. For over 20 years thereafter, she lived in Texas near her dear sister, Caroline Bradbury, who died just a few months earlier of ALS. Esther died peacefully two weeks after suffering her second stroke.

Cremation services were provided by Thomas McAfee Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Greenville, South Carolina. Her ashes will join her sisters near Austin, Texas.

As she was a lover of nature and gardening, a tree is being dedicated in her name at Chicago Botanic Gardens in Glencoe, Illinois. Her son, Greg, would appreciate hearing from anyone who remembers her.
