Ray L. Begeman

BEGEMAN - Word has been received of the Aug. 24 death of Ray L. Begeman of San Antonio, Tex., formerly of South Bend. He was a graduate of Central High School and a former district circulation manager for The Tribune. He retired from the United States Air Force after 23 years of active service.

His wife Bette survives, along with four daughters, Miss Taro Begeman of La Grange, Ga., Miss Kim Begeman of Pompano Beach, Fla., Mrs. Karen Santino and Mrs. Kio Cruz, both of San Antonio; and a sister, Mrs. Opal Heiermann of Holiday, Fla.

Memorial services were Aug. 28 at the Fort Sam Houston (Tex.) Chapel
