Betty Nemeth, 63, of Carmel, Ind., formerly of South Bend, died at 8:10 a.m. Saturday, Jan 10, 1987,  in St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis. She was born on Dec. 9, 1923, in South Bend,

On Jan. 13, 1945, she married Joseph Nemeth, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Barbara J. Nemeth of Evanston, Ill., and Patricia A. Manges of Osceola; a son, David A. at home; a grandson; two sisters, Mary Jane Walling of Issaquah, Wash., and Dorothea* of Menlo Park, Calif.; and two brothers, Harold Jorgensen of Florida and Harry Jorgensen of South Bend.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Highland to 9 p.m. Monday in McGann Cemetery. Friends may call from? neral Home, 2313 E. Edison Road.

Mrs. Nemeth was a secretary for Bendix Corp.
