Born April 10, 1924, he was the son of the late Paul E. and Marion (Turnock) Krueper. His brother, Paul E. Krueper, Jr. also preceded him in death. Lou married Betty Brunette on August 3, 1946 and they celebrated 59 years of marriage until her death on April 2, 2006. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Mr. Krueper is survived by his sons, Louis (Judy) Krueper, Jr. and David (Chris) Krueper; his daughters, Mary Ann (Christopher) Kruk and Beverly (Stephen) Grove; eleven grandchildren, Mathew (Cherise) Krueper, Billy (Stephanie) Krueper, Liz (Eric) Needham, Sarah Futa, Emily (Aaron) Bolin, Drew Krueper, Beau (Lindsay) Kruk, Stephen, Sean, Jocelyn and Chelsea Grove; and thirteen great-grandchildren. Lou was a plumber by trade and owner of Krueper & Sons Plumbing & Heating. He enjoyed spending his free time on the golf course where he perfected his game. Many mornings he could be found having breakfast with his friends. He was an avid Notre Dame fan and some of his last thoughts were that Notre Dame was #1. Lou was proud to have served in the Navy during WW II. His love and caring ways will be missed by his family. We were truly blessed to have had him as our father. Visitation will be from 2-5 PM, with the Rosary being recited at 4:30 PM on Sunday, November 25th at the McGann Hay, University Chapel, 2313 E. Edison Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday at 10 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church, where he and Betty were parishioners.
