Ladora Humphrey Mosher

Ladora C. Mosher, 90, of Rockford, passed away Friday, January 2, 2015, in The Villa at PA Peterson. Born November 4, 1924, in South Bend, IN, daughter of Melvin and Eleanor (Lamirand) Humphrey. She married Philip C. Mosher on January 8, 1944. He predeceased her on August 27, 2009. She liked painting and loved playing cards. She was a master bridge player. A member of the Studebaker Club, Elks Club #2010 and Svithiod Club.

Survivors include sons, Phil C. (Christine) Mosher Jr. of Newport, RI and Richard M. (Janice) Mosher of Rockford; daughter, Suzette M. (Chuck) Reese of Ames, IA; 7 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister, Erma L. (Frank) Schneider; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 in the Olson Funeral & Cremation Services Ltd. Fred C. Olson Chapels, 1001 Second Avenue, Rockford, IL 61104, with Pastor Dean Parker officiating. Burial in Scandinavian Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 10:45 prior to the service. Memorials can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
